Trenton Children's Chorus is proud to present a special screening of the critically acclaimed new documentary

"Won't You Be My Neighbor?"

Friday, June 22
7:00 pm
Princeton Garden Theatre, 160 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ.

This special event is generously supported
by Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

For over thirty years, Fred Rogers, an unassuming minister, puppeteer, writer and producer was beamed daily into homes across America. In his beloved television program, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Fred and his cast of puppets and friends spoke directly to young children about some of life’s weightiest issues, in a simple, direct fashion. There hadn’t been anything like Mr. Rogers on television before and there hasn’t been since.

Following the screening there will be a Q & A with Eliot Daley, who joined Fred Rogers as president of the 'Mister Rogers' Neighborhood' organization during its early years. He managed the company's corporate offices which were located in Princeton during his tenure and also commuted to Pittsburgh to oversee the production company he organized there. Eliot regards Fred Rogers as a genius from whom he learned more in any one week than in any of his academic-degree programs.
